At Scent of Desert, we are committed to delivering high-quality, authentic fragrances. Your satisfaction matters to us, and this policy explains your rights and our procedures in line with UK consumer law.

1. Returns & Refunds

Under UK law, you have the right to cancel most online purchases within 14 days of receiving your order. However, due to the nature of fragrance products, certain conditions apply.

Eligibility for Returns

We accept returns within 14 days of delivery, provided that:

     

      • The item is unopened

      • The item is unused

      • The item remains in its original sealed cellophane packaging

    Non-Returnable Items

    For hygiene and safety reasons:

       

        • Any perfume that has been opened, sprayed, or had its seal broken cannot be returned

        • This is in accordance with UK regulations on sealed goods that are not suitable for return once opened

      2. Damaged or Faulty Goods

      If your item arrives damaged or faulty:

         

          • Contact us within 48 hours of delivery

          • Provide clear photographic evidence

        We will:

           

            • Offer a replacement, or

            • Issue a full refund, including any applicable delivery costs

          This complies with your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

          3. Return Shipping

             

              • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs

              • If the item is faulty or incorrect, we will cover the return costs

            We recommend using a tracked delivery service, as we cannot be responsible for lost returns.

            4. Refund Process

               

                • Refunds are processed within 5–10 working days after we receive and inspect the item

                • Refunds will be issued using the original payment method

              5. Safety & Allergy Disclaimer

              All fragrances sold by Scent of Desert comply with UK safety regulations.

              However, please note:

              Skin Sensitivity

                 

                  • Perfumes contain essential oils and alcohol, which may cause irritation

                  • We recommend performing a patch test before full use

                Ingredients

                   

                    • Please review the INCI (ingredient list) on packaging for allergens

                  Usage Guidelines

                     

                      • For external use only

                      • Keep away from:

                           

                            • Children

                            • Eyes

                            • Naked flames or heat sources

                      6. Product Authenticity

                      Scent of Desert is a reseller of genuine, branded fragrances.
                      We are not the manufacturer of the products we sell.

                      Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under UK law, including:
